Nicky Agate

Nicky Agate is project manager for digital initiatives at the MLA, where she oversees the planning, development, promotion, and launch of major grant-funded digital initiatives in scholarly communication and digital preservation. The holder of a PhD in French from NYU and an MFA in Literary Translation, she believes that graduate students will only be able to contemplate the full spectrum of humanities careers without guilt or self doubt when their departments openly celebrate alumni and advocate for students that have chosen such paths of their own accord.
